All orders will ship ground. Delivery
time is usually 3-5 business days.
Express shipping is available on phone in orders only
for actual cost of shipping.

credit card. We have sophisticated software to help combat
credit card fraud. We will prosecute any attempt to the
furthest extent of the law.

Product Availability
Most products will be shipped within 24-48 hours of
order placement. Some products require additional lead-time.
We will do everything we can to make sure you receive
your product as quickly as possible. We have distribution
centers all over the United States which helps to get
your order to you as soon as possible.
Since we ship our products through different distribution
centers, we must go through them to get any tracking
information.
This process takes time, so we ask that you:

Special Orders
Although most items listed on our
site are available, there are times when an application
is special order. When an item is special order we will
contact you to notify you of this. There is a $10.00
special order fee and additional shipping will be added.
Special orders must be paid in full before the item
is ordered. Special orders are also not returnable.

Our site uses secure line technology
to guarantee your order is protected from loss, misuse
and alteration of any information that is collected
from you at the time of ordering. All credit card
information uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
All personal information is encrypted so it can not
be viewed by anyone but us.
Canceled Orders
We try to deliver our products in a very
timely manner. With this in mind once the order is
submitted they are generally processed immediately
(during normal business hours). If the order is placed
after normal business hours, they will be processed
the following morning, which allows more time to cancel.
Once the item or items have been processed and are
in line to ship, they can not be canceled. If
an order is not cancelled on the same business day
it was placed the orders will be accessed a 5% cancellation
fee (before 4
pm Central Time).
SALES TAX
All internet purchases, whether purchased from Truck
Outfitters Plus or any other internet website are
subject to state and local sales and usage taxes.
Truck Outfitters Plus only collects sales and usage
taxes for the State of Iowa (see below for additional
information). If you reside outside of the State of
Iowa, Truck Outfitters Plus will not collect sales
tax for your purchase. It is the customer's responsiblity
to pay any applicable sales or usage taxes to their
proper authorities. Truck Outfitters Plus is not responsible
for the failure of the end purchaser to pay applicable
sales and usage taxes.
Iowa State Sales Tax Requirements
(In Accordance to The Department of
Iowa Revenue)
All sales of tangible personal property
in Iowa are subject to sales tax unless exempted by
state law. Sales of services are exempt from Iowa
sales tax unless taxed (enumerated) by state law.
State Sales Tax applies if delivery of
taxable goods or services occurs within the State
of Iowa jurisdiction. Delivery is the
location in which ownership of product is transferred
from the seller to the buyer or the location in which
a service is rendered, furnished or performed. If
delivery occurs in the State of Iowa jurisdiction,
then state sales tax must be collected on the transaction.
Purchase Price / Sale Price: The basis for
Iowa tax is the purchase or sale price of tangible
personal property or enumerated (taxable) services.
Purchase price or sale price
means the total amount of consideration, including
cash, credit, property and services, for which personal
property or services are sold. All sales of tangible
personal property in Iowa are subject to sales tax
unless exempted by state law. The retailer must add
the tax to the price of the goods or services and
collect the tax from the purchaser. The retailer cannot
in any way indicate that the sales tax is being absorbed.
If sales tax is not paid at the time of purchase,
Truck Outfitters Plus will notify the customer that
sales tax will be charged at the time of shipping
in accordance to The Department of Iowa Revenue.
State Sales Tax Exceptions: State sales tax
expemption is offered to customers who are purchasing
an item that is being shipped within the State of
Iowa but is purchased for resale purposes
. In order to exempt from state sales tax, Truck Outfitters
Plus must be presented with the Resale Tax ID Number
(may be submitted in the special instructions at the
time of checkout). At no time will Truck Outfitters
Plus exempt a customer from Iowa Sales Tax if the
Resale Tax ID Number is not provided.
Shipping Issues
Non-FedEx UPSable Shipping Adjustments:
In the event that your order must be
shipped using a ground freight carrier, we will contact
you with the actual shipping cost for that order.
At that time you will have the right to cancel the
order and all charges will be credited accordingly.
Incorrect Shipping
Address
If an incorrect shipping address has been
provided to Truck Outfitters Plus.com either online
or by phone, a $10.50 address correction fee will
be charged to the credit card used to place the order.
If the order was purchased through PayPal or by Check
we ask that the address correction fee be paid before
we correct it with the shipping carrier.
Damaged Products
If the product that you receive is damaged
during shipping you must file a damage claim with
the shipper (ex. FedEx, UPS, etc.) within 48 hours
of receiving the product.
We require the customer be prepared
to provide photos of any damage to the product received.
A claim will be filed with the shipping company after
the photos are received. Please see return policy
for full instructions on damage claims.
Truck Freight Claims
and Limits of Liability
The recipient agrees to inspect the shipment
at the time of delivery and document all damages on
the delivery paperwork/bill of lading before the driver
leaves (even concealed damage). If a claim is submitted
after 14 days from the delivery of the shipment, Truck
Outfitters Plus.com cannot guarantee the claim will
be accepted by the freight carrier, as there are limitations
from the carriers as to how long after delivery a
claim may be submitted. If the customer has any concealed
damage, it needs to be noted at the time of delivery
and a claim must be filed within 3 days of delivery.
If such a situation should occur, the customer will
not hold Truck Outfitters Plus.com liable. Truck Outfitters
Plus will do our best to submit a claim should this
situation arise but cannot guarantee the outcome.
Truck Outfitters Plus.com will work to assist our
customers with the investigation of freight loss or
damage claims for any damage to our customers property
occurring from the transportation services made available
to our customers.
As the customer, you understand that
Truck Outfitters Plus.com is not the actual carrier
and will not refuse payment to Truck Outfitters Plus.com
for any reasons relating to the disputes with freight
carriers. The customer realizes that Truck Outfitters
Plus.com acts as a connection on behalf of the customer
to assist them in the process of their claim with
the actual freight carrier. At no time can Truck Outfitters
Plus.com guarantee acceptance from the freight carrier
where the product has been delivered and signed for
with no damage noted on the bill of lading by the
customer or the delivery driver at the time of delivery,
however a claim will be submitted regardless.
Products Lost In Shipping
We will handle all claims with the shipping
company where the item may be lost. If the shipping
company deems the package lost and the customer purchased
insurance, we will ship out a replacement of the same
product at no additional cost. We will only ship out
a replacement if the shipping company claims the item
was lost.
If the customer did not purchase "Signature
Required" before the order shipped, then the
customer assumes all responsibility
for any claim that has been denied by the shipping
company where the package was left at an unattended
residence.
Shipping Outside the
Continental U.S.
Truck Outfitters Plus.com will ship to
Alaska, Hawaii and APO addresses, however there will
be additional shipping and handling charges that will
apply.
